Nacy Woods
FIRM DIRECTOR
Nacy is a senior public relations major with minors in political science and philosophy. On campus, she serves as the Vice President of Membership Recruitment on the Panhellenic Council and was a member of the 2021 PRSSA Bateman Competition Team. Nacy spent the summer of 2021 interning for Brodeur Partners, a public relations firm based out of Boston, MA. This is Nacy’s fourth year with Hill Communications, and she looks forward to expanding the firm and diversifying the client base.

Assistant firm director
Erin Jacobs is a junior majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Spanish and Political Science. Erin has interned at a boutique PR agency, and this summer she moved into the political communications space, interning for a 2022 gubernatorial election campaign in Maryland where she is from. As assistant firm director, she hopes to imbed the core strategies of PR into each account in Hill Communications, ensuring both clients and members serve a mutually beneficial role and are working towards tangible results. Erin is eager to support the hard work of the Hill Communications members and to consistently offer a meaningful perspective to the firm.

Will Coen is a senior public relations student who is minoring in political science. Will spent the summer working in Washington DC helping a not for profit promote local business. At Syracuse Will is also a peer advisor and serves as a tour guide at Newhouse. Will is looking forward to bringing in amazing speakers and helping Hill Comm students excel and learn.


Chelsea Stern

Chelsea Stern is a senior public relations major with a minor in information management and technology. Chelsea spent her summer interning with M Booth on various food and beverage accounts. She also serves as the Co-President of Women in Communications. With hope of one day traveling the world and opening her own restaurant, Chelsea hopes to bring her ambition to her role at Hill Communications. She looks forward to further shaping the intern program to grow the freshmen’s passion for PR as they begin to navigate the world of communications.

Teresa is a junior dual majoring in public and international relations. She interned with a nonprofit in Washington D.C. called L.A.C.E.S. as a Communications intern where she coordinated social media and camp programming for refugee youth in the DMV area. While on campus, she serves as the Secretary General of the Model United Nations club and the secretary of the International Relations Club. Teresa is looking forward to going abroad in the spring to Strasbourg, France, where she is pursuing international communications and internships in the community She is so proud and excited to use her skills managing communications for the firm this fall.


QUINN SCHMIDT

Quinn Schmidt is a junior public relations major and a sport management minor. He loves watching Philadelphia sports and has transferred his passion for athletics into his professional life, spending the summer interning for the Reading United AC football club. Quinn’s love for giving back to the community is exemplified through his work with the Share For Life Foundation, a nonprofit housed out of NYC focusing on youth development in the city’s most underserved boroughs. Quinn is excited to continue adding skills to his PR repertoire this spring while also strengthening Hill Communications’ reputation as one of Syracuse University’s most premier on-campus organizations.
SYDNEY BRUNO
DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Sydney Bruno is a senior public relations major with a minor in Information Management & Technology. This summer, Sydney pursued her interests in the hospitality industry at the beach and in public relations through a part-time internship at milk*. Sydney would like to encourage students who are considering a career in public relations to apply for Hill Comm as they will receive an unrivaled hands-on experience. At the core of her purpose, Sydney aims to ensure those around her feel valued and she looks forward to continuing this mindset in her role as Director of Human Resources.


Ryan Garret
Director of Graphic Design
Ryan Garret is a junior majoring in Advertising and minoring in Fine Arts. Ryan works as a freelance graphic designer, and has developed full brand campaigns for small businesses in his home state of Delaware, as well as across the country. Ryan has won 1st place in two state-wide graphic design competitions and competed as a finalist at a national conference in Anaheim, CA. Last year at Hill Comm, Ryan conducted a rebrand campaign for his client, GreenHill, using skills in logo design, layout and typography. Ryan looks forward to being a leader at Hill Comm this year for others that share his passion, and helping to deliver impactful design content to his clients.
