Ten Syracuse University students founded a student-run public relations firm in order to gain real-world public relations experience.

 

They called the firm “Campus Hill Public Relations” and took on three clients within its first semester. The firm was founded on the core principles taught in the world-renowned S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Campus Hill Public Relations was so successful in its first semester its clientele had doubled by the end of its second year.

 

For the next decade, Campus Hill worked to maintain an intimate environment that focused on serving client needs in an individual and personalized manner.

 

As Campus Hill began to gain notoriety, it went through various rebranding efforts and transitioned to Hill Communications. The firm has continued to retain the same principles upon which it was founded and recruits new members every year to provide new services to a growing list of valued clients.
