Sophie is a senior pursuing a double major in Public Relations and Political Science at Syracuse University’s Newhouse and Maxwell schools. Since joining Hill Communications as a freshman intern during her first semester, she has grown within the firm through the roles of Associate, Executive, and Supervisor. As this year’s Director of Development, Sophie leads the Freshman Intern Program and is responsible for creating a space where new members feel prepared and empowered to take on professional opportunities within the firm and beyond. Outside of Hill Communications, Sophie has interned at TLG Communications, NBCUniversal, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. She credits her own experience as a freshman intern with giving her the confidence and foundation to pursue those opportunities, making the chance to shape the program especially meaningful.
