Aviya Garg
Firm Director
Aviya Garg is a senior pursuing a major in public relations and a minor in marketing. Aviya started at the firm as a Freshman Intern in January of 2022. This past summer, Aviya interned at General Motors as an Executive Communications Intern in Detroit, Michigan, where she assisted in communications efforts for CEO and Chairman Mary Barra. As this year’s Firm Director, Aviya aims to deliver high quality materials and experiences to both clients and firm members. She hopes to be able to pass down the wealth of knowledge she’s gained from her time on past accounts and strengthen her leadership and mentoring skills. In her free time Aviya enjoys traveling, cooking and playing with her dog, Bindi!
Gabby Harrison
Assistant Firm Director
Gabby Harrison is a senior entering her fourth and final year with Hill Communications. Beginning in the spring of 2021 as a Freshman Intern, she is now one of our Assistant Firm Directors. Gabby is studying public relations with minors in political science and information management and technology. This summer, Gabby was an intern with FINN Partners, a global public relations firm, on their consumer and lifestyle team in London, England.
Over the past three semesters, Gabby served as an Account Supervisor, where she mentored newer members of the firm and facilitated successful client engagements. With extensive experience in client relations, Gabby aims to be a valuable resource for both clients and firm members. She is passionate about advocacy and public affairs, and she aspires to leverage her communication skills to positively impact her community.
Connor Donovan
Assistant Firm Director
Connor Donovan is a senior majoring in public relations with a focus on financial and investor communications. He started his journey with Hill Communications as a Freshman Intern during his first semester in the fall of 2021. This past summer, Connor interned at ServiceNow in New York City, where he contributed to the product PR and corporate communications teams. Connor is passionate about proactive brand storytelling and brings experience from both agency environments and an in-house communications team at a Fortune 500 company. For two semesters, he served as an Account Supervisor, creating compelling social media content and mentoring younger firm members. In his new role as Assistant Firm Director, Connor is excited to be a resource for both clients and Hill Communications members, ensuring high-quality work and continuing the firm's stellar reputation.
Margaret Brown
Director of Programming
Margaret Brown is entering her junior year and her third year with Hill Communications beginning her journey as a Freshman Intern in Fall 2022. This past semester, she studied abroad in London and can't wait to share all about her travels. Margaret has a passion for connecting her peers and higher education, and brings with her experience working for Syracuse University and her dual majors of public relations and global management. She has worked on the Newhouse MND, Newhouse PR, and Chocolate Pizza Company accounts. In her new role as Director of Programming, she hopes she and her partner in crime, Fiona, can be the "hostesses with the mostest," and foster the creative and positive environment their predecessors built. Margaret is so excited for the school year to start and for Hill Communications to continue its meaningful work!
Fiona Flynn is a rising junior, entering her third year at Hill Communications. This past summer, Fiona interned at Haymaker Group, a public relations firm based out of New York City. Fiona is very passionate about PR and is always looking to gain hands-on experience in various ways. She previously acted as an Account Supervisor at Hill Communications. In her new role, she hopes to bring support and guidance to all members of the firm to help them achieve their goals. Fiona is pursuing a major in public relations with a minor in policy studies.

Carly Grafstein is a senior majoring in public relations and minoring in marketing and is entering her fourth year with Hill Communications. Carly has diverse experience in PR, working across entertainment, non-profit, financial and lifestyle sectors, and is passionate about utilizing her skillset to positively impact companies in the industry. Carly is thrilled to step into her new role as Director of Development, where she hopes to leave a lasting impact on students and continue Hill Comms high reputation.

Jackson Olenick
Director of Internal And External Communications
Jackson Olenick is entering his senior year as a public relations major and a political science minor. His interest in communications and writing is vast, with experience in public relations writing, employer branding, editorial writing, political communications and social media management. This past summer, Jackson interned with Warner Bros. Discovery on the employer branding team in New York City to evolve his strategic communication and tactical marketing skills. As the new Director of Internal and External Communications at Hill Comm, Jackson is thrilled to help manage Hill Comm’s prestigious reputation inside and outside by managing the firm’s external communications efforts while continuously ensuring every team member is empowered through seamless internal communications and support. He looks forward to meeting all prospective talent for the 2024-2025 year!
Ethan Rujak
Executive Creative Director
Ethan Rujak is entering his junior year at SU, where he is majoring in Graphic Design. Since joining the Hill Comm Creative Team as a freshman, Ethan has developed a deep passion for design and marketing. He is eager to broaden his expertise across all areas of communications and digital marketing. Ethan is interning at Lembra Digital, a digital marketing company, where he designs logos, websites, and social media posts for clients. Additionally, he serves as a Graphic Designer for the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, collaborating with the communications team to create engaging social media content. Ethan is dedicated to advancing his career in graphic design and marketing while at SU, and is currently in his second year as the Executive Creative Director for Hill Comm. Ethan looks forward to expanding the client base and further developing his creative team.
