Last semester, I had the privilege of serving as an Account Executive under the guidance of Supervisor Kendall Hymes on the Crazy Daisies account. Our team, though small, was highly productive, consisting of Account Associate Christian Slowinski and Freshman Intern Abby Musman. Together, we partnered with TNH, Syracuse University’s premiere student-run advertising agency, to successfully elevate Crazy Daisies' online presence. This collaboration marked the first time Crazy Daisies and Hill Communications joined forces, making for an exciting and groundbreaking semester for both groups.

Our efforts began with a comprehensive social media audit, where we analyzed the performance of Crazy Daisies' platforms. This included  Instagram, Facebook and its blog. We used our findings to develop strategic recommendations to optimize its accounts and better align with their goals. While collaborating with TNH we had a variety of meetings with TNH to figure out how we can work effectively together. Hymes met with TNH Account Manager Catie Rokkos each week to catch up on their respective teams' workstreams. They held weekly meetings with their individual teams, and we would all convene on Sundays for joint team updates. It was great to meet regularly with the TNH team members and learn about what they were doing for Crazy Daisies.

The highlight of our semester was an on-site visit to Crazy Daisies, where we organized a full content creation day. The TNH and Hill Comm teams spent the day rotating between the cafe and greenhouse, getting content of wreath-making workshops, people shopping for plants and cafe scenery. We had a great day working with TNH to get content that we would later use for social media content.

I am deeply grateful for another successful semester working with an exceptional client and an outstanding team. With Supervisor Kendall Hymes graduating, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation for her invaluable leadership, mentorship, and contributions. To end the semester off strong, we created a variety of blog posts to leave Crazy Daisies, providing them with months worth of articles to use for their website. Looking toward future semesters, I am excited to explore new opportunities and continue strengthening this meaningful partnership.
