Strategic storytelling: A semester with Sprout Therapy Group

Ella Mathas

Working on the Sprout Therapy Group account this past semester provided an invaluable opportunity to dive into the dynamic realm of media and communications. Sprout Therapy Group specializes in pediatric development services and is committed to supporting children’s growth and success during their formative years. Sprout delivers care in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology and special education. They create personalized programs designed to foster development, enhance skills and empower families for long-term success.

Working on this account meant achieving our objectives of showcasing Sprout Therapy Group's unique elements and getting their message out there. Our primary goal was to increase preschool enrollment by highlighting Sprout Therapy Group’s dedication to inclusivity, showcasing its welcoming environment and tailored programs designed to support the growth and development of every child. We also aimed to conduct thorough research to drive the organization’s growth and outreach efforts. This involved analyzing audience demographics, social media performance, competitor strategies and industry trends, providing valuable insights to enhance their impact and expand their reach.

Throughout the semester, our Hill Communications team contributed to supporting Sprout Therapy Group by developing a press release, conducting analyses of their audience, social media, business landscape and competitors, and maintaining an active presence on Facebook and Instagram to highlight the brand. In this initial phase of our partnership, we’ve laid a solid groundwork and created a portfolio that future Hill Communications teams can leverage to enhance Sprout Therapy Group’s reach and influence further.

This semester, our team included Account Supervisor Juliana Blobe, Account Associates Kendall Palazzi and Claire King, Intern Becca Lipset, and I served as Account Executive. We focused on fostering a collaborative approach to deliver content that highlights inclusivity and strengthens Sprout Therapy Group's brand reputation.

Collaborating with Sprout Therapy Group has been an enriching experience, offering valuable insights into the power of strategic communication in amplifying an organization's mission. Throughout this semester, we highlighted Sprout’s dedication to inclusivity and excellence in children’s development services and built a foundation for their continued growth and outreach. Working with such a meaningful organization allowed our team to hone our skills, foster creativity and make a tangible impact. As we conclude this semester, we take pride in the work we accomplished. We are confident that our contributions will serve as a stepping stone for future teams to further elevate Sprout Therapy Group’s influence and success.
